DROP OFF program for independent learners 5 and up- parents not included in RSVP. $15 per child participating (see link above) Limited to 15 children per class Description : What makes a park special? What makes a park safe? What are important structures, rules, and logistics when you’re designing your own park? This is a ninety-minute format with map-based cut-and-paste and drawing options for participants • Activities include : discussion of park safety, accessibility, and community enjoyment • Instruction to include creating your own park name, legend, symbols, and overall layout • Opportunity to adapt activities for older children And of course, a tour through South Central Park for Ideas and inspiration. This is guided by a Lorain County Metroparks employee, partnering with BWC- not a BWC Learning Lead
