Join us for The 67th Annual Nisei Week Karate Exhibition & Tournament, presented by Shotokan Karate of America (SKA). Founded under the leadership of Tsutomu Ohshima, one of the last direct students of Shotokan founder Gichin Funakoshi, SKA has been teaching traditional karate in the United States since the 1950s. The organization remains dedicated to karate as both a martial art and a lifelong practice built around discipline, character, and continuous training.
