this is commonplace. a new monthly living room series meant for spending time together, learning something new and figuring out what it means to make community in the spaces we already have. we're starting it all off with a book swap + stoop hangout + conversation about stoop culture and social infrastructure in LA. we’ll look into how los angeles was built, how our surroundings shape the ways we live and relate to one another and what happens when the everyday places that bring people together begin to disappear. come for the book swap, stay for the conversation, or just hang out, no pressure. and as always, free and open to all! more info + calendar at @common______place
