WET WOMAN COLLECTIVE presents their debut event: TWERK FOR THE EARTH! Come celebrate Big Mama Earth by Shaking Ass. This Twerkshop is for EVERYONE, all gender expressions, all bodies, and total beginners welcome. WET WOMAN is a movement of Wild Embodied Togetherness. We are a collective of women, artists, and experiential producers offering a series of workshops, retreats and intentional gatherings. We believe Liberation is a co-creation. Join us. This Twerkshop is an ode to the Earth, to the ground that holds us, the rhythm that moves us, that planet that lets us shake what we've got. On Earth Day, we give thanks the best way we know how - by moving our bodies, honoring our planet and twerking for the one home we all share. For those new to our style of twerking, this is not about looking sexy, or performing choreography. This is a space to shake, let go, find your jiggle, and feel it all. Come pray and play! We will start with some gentle movement, followed by upbeat and playful instruction. Then we will flow, allowing all the creativity that wants to come through you, your body and the collective. Your laughter, your tears, your hopes and dreams for our planet are all welcome. You will leave with clear take-home tools for how to move energy through your body & your booty! Clothing Suggestion: We recommend wearing anything you can move easily in without constriction/compression. Maybe a pair of shorts/undies that are not TOO tight - tight clothes prevent you from feeling your jiggle. And feeling your jiggle is the WHOLE point! What To Bring: A Friend, Your Mom, A Water Bottle, Your Prayer For The Earth Come celebrate yourself and the Earth in a whole new way. Doors open at 5:30pm, event starts promptly at 6pm and will end at 8:30pm. Your Wet Woman hosts for this night's event are Emily Brennan, Yael Carmel, Tory Giardina and Jaye Johnson. Tickets are $44.
