For over a century, fashion magazines shaped culture, fashion, and taste. The early 21st century has been marked by rapid changes in technology and consumer behavior. Fashion magazines have been met with the existential question: adapt or be left behind. This panel explores how content in modern magazines has evolved to meet the demands of the new consumers. NYU LARA presents Christiane Mack Chief Content who’s worked at Condé Nast for over 35 years. During her time at Conde Nast, she has worked at Vogue and Teen Vogue. Our panel explores the changes in content creation from a magazine perspective as consumer behavior has shifted in recent years. Vogue’s content strategy reflects how legacy brands maintain cultural relevance amid rapid technological changes.
