A bonus walk, in partnership with Chapman University. ❤️ We're taking the walk inland for one night only. Newport a little far? This one's in Orange. Can't make a Friday morning? This one's after work. If you've been meaning to come out and the timing never worked, this is the one. This month's theme: Building in SoCal 🏖️ What does it actually mean to build something here instead of somewhere else? Come ready with your answer. Everyone's version of that looks a little different, and that's the fun part. Here's the flow: 5:30 — Arrive at the Leatherby Center (indoors), mingle 5:45 — Welcome, elevator pitches, group photo 6:00 — Walk to the Circle, touring campus along the way 6:20 — Speed networking on the grass at the Circle, rotating every 7 minutes 6:50 — Provisions for drinks, open conversation 7:30 — Official wrap Never been to one of these? Here's how it works: you'll meet several people in real conversation instead of working a room. We rotate partners so nobody gets stuck, and everyone gets asked the same question, so there's always something to talk about. Who should come: Founders, entrepreneurs, creatives, students, and curious people who value real connection over transactional networking. If you're building something, or still figuring out what you want to build, you belong here. You don't need a company, a pitch, or a plan. Just show up.
