Day of Resilience 5k and Beer Fest

-‿-Join us for the 11th Annual Day of Resilience on Saturday, July 25, 2026 from 7:30AM–12PM at the Reflection Garden in Aurora.
Inspired by the strength shown after the 2012 Aurora theater tragedy, the Day of Resilience is a community-centered morning focused on healing, hope, wellness, creativity, and connection.
This year’s festival includes:
• The Hero’s Journey 5K Run/Walk led by survivor Zack Golditch (please be sure to sign up for this through our website as this requires more info!)
• Stretching + mindfulness yoga
• Live chalk artists creating throughout the morning
• Wellness experiences + healing art activities
• Live music with DJ Sinna-G
• Food + local beer tasting
• A dedicated sober space
• Garden tours + memorial reflection spaces
• Family-friendly activities and community connection throughout the festival
Beer tasting wristbands are available for any donation for guests 21+, with proceeds supporting the ongoing healing-centered work of the 7/20 Memorial Foundation.
Whether you come to run, reflect, create, listen to music, connect with community, or simply spend a meaningful summer morning in the garden… there is space for you here.
