We’re looking forward to another great SFA Sig Tau Family Tailgate! If you get into town Friday afternoon, join us for some brotherhood at the house. On Saturday, we’ll kick off the day at the Sig Tau House with some bites, drinks, and time to catch up before heading over to the official tailgate at 2:00 PM. This year, the tailgate will take over College Street for a block-party-style event with plenty for both adults and kids. There will be live music from Huffie and the Paintfish playing nostalgic rock and ’90s hits, inflatables including a bounce house, axe throwing and obstacle course, tailgate games, Kona Ice, SFA gameday swag, and ESPN College GameDay on the big screens. The SFA Band, Cheer and Dance teams are scheduled to perform around 3:30 PM, about 1½ hours before kickoff. We’ll have a limited reserved Sig Tau seating area inside the dining hall, and we’ve secured special pricing of $50 per family (2 adults + unlimited children) or $25 for one adult. The tailgate will feature a full BBQ spread from the SFA BBQ Team, Axes & Embers, including chicken, brisket, pulled pork, cheese grits, classic BBQ sides and fixings, plus peach cobbler and football cupcakes. Tea and water are included, and there will also be a cash bar with beer, wine, seltzers and specialty cocktails. Adults 21+ will receive one drink ticket. After the tailgate, we’ll head over to Homer Bryce Stadium for the game. I’m still waiting on our link for discounted game tickets in Section A and will share it as soon as I receive it. Come for as much of the day as you can — bring the family, reconnect with old friends, meet some new ones, and enjoy a full SFA game day together. Axe ’Em, Jacks!
