Inspired by the intimate gatherings of early 1900s women’s salons, Night Owls x Black Lotus are presenting a modern twist on this timeless tradition.
The second edition of The Empowerment Salon is all about expression and touch. Through movement, conversation, body mapping, and body painting, we’ll dive into what touch makes us feel good.
This is a female-only event designed for connection and creation.
What to Expect:
✨ Opening Connection – A guided movement session to ground yourself and tune into your body.
🤲 The Language of Touch – A discussion exploring the ways we crave, give, and interpret touch—comfort, pleasure, safety, and connection.
✍️ Body Mapping – Through guided prompts, you’ll explore how different areas of your body experience touch.
Where do you love to be touched? Where do people assume you want to be touched?
What kind of touch do you long for vs. what do you actually receive?
🎨 Body Painting – This is your chance to explore consensual touch through artistic play. Turn your body into a canvas where every stroke reflects your relationship with touch.
• How do you want to be adorned?
• How do different strokes and sensations make you feel?
• What will you offer to others, and what will you allow yourself to receive?
No prior painting experience is necessary. Instruction and materials will be provided.
📸 Captured Moments – A photographer will be on hand to take photos!
🎁 Curated Gift Bags – A small collection of take-home items to celebrate touch and expression.
The Details:
👗 Dress Code: Wear what makes you feel comfortable — favorite bralette and underwear, a sports bra and boxers. Don’t worry, the paint is washable!
🍷 BYOB: Bring a drink to sip throughout the night. Light snacks, ice, and mixers provided.
🥰 Come Open & Curious: This is a night of connection, exploration, and shared experience.

Frequently Asked Questions
✨ When / how do I pay? Upon RSVP, guests will see a pop up to pay via Venmo. Alternatively, you can ask to receive a secure payment form sent via the email address and phone number provided.
✨ I can no longer attend. Can I get a refund? Tickets are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
✨ I’m not a member, can I buy a ticket? For this event, no. For members-only events, you will need to supply the email address associated with your membership as part of the ticket-buying process.

✨ When can I know the address of the venue? The address of the venue will be sent to approved and confirmed guests during the week before the event.
✨ What do I need to bring to get in? Entry is only possible with your payment confirmation and photo ID. This will be cross-checked with our membership list. If there isn't a photographic match, there will be no entry. Entry is always at the management’s discretion.
✨ Do I have to dress up? In short, yes. Night Owls parties have a strict dress code that must be adhered to. The venue has a free coat check room. You are welcome to come in regular clothes and change at the venue. Guests who do not adhere to the dress code will be refused entry with no refund.
