The JP Atelier mindfulness + art

The JP Atelier presents… mindfulness + art Sit with art, settle your mind & leave tranquil and connected Join Jennifer Swanberg, a certified mindfulness teacher, and Beth Kantrowitz, an independent art curator and gallerist, for an evening designed to help you step away from your daily responsibilities, leaving you calm, connected, and present. Surrounded by art and practicing together, participants will engage in 60 minutes of meditation and quiet reflection. By slowing down and being with art, you are encouraged to use your senses, calm your mind, and experience both the artwork and yourself more deeply. No meditation experience is required. Please bring your own mat (pillows and blanket too if desired) and dress comfortably. Additional time before and after the 60 minute meditation session will allow us to socialize, learn about the artwork on display, and even make purchases. Light refreshments will be provided.
