Spreading sweetness: treats, crafts & compassion
FREE public event open to all :) Come for the sweets and stay for the crafts & community building!
Potluck style but make it sweets/candy (list ingredients if u bake)! Let’s make a massive sugar pile *rubs hands together in anticipation*
Drop in whenever to enjoy the portion of the event you’d like :) If you’re joining for compassion-building exercises, please come at the start!
Agenda:
1-1:30pm arrive & build sugar pile 🍪🍫
1:30-2pm compassion-building exercises (sml grp share, boundary-setting, guided loving kindness meditation)
2-3pm Craft stations (choose what u like):
- 💝Make a small heart plush with a warm wish sewn inside to gift to new or old friend
- 📃Create flyer with tear-off tabs of encouragement/love/kindness to hang around SF
- 💌Letter writing: write to a friend who’s been there for u or to yourself bc u deserve it
*Tentative: walk together after event to hang up our flyers (depending on rain ☔️ )
NOTE: do not park in sports basement parking lot! Sadly as event goers we are not allowed.
