TL;DR: This is a technical event oriented around building interesting utilities, apps, and games atop some rust libraries we've been working on. if you like databases written in rust, incremental computation, or differential dataflow, you'll like what we've been up to. Bring a laptop! ~ We're Flower, and we've built a few incredible tools we'd love to share with you. The star of the show is Bog: a next-generation queryless database runtime. We think the future is going to run on Bog. Take an easy afternoon to hack on these new tools, meet our friends, and connect with other aficionados of databases, functional programming, static embedding models, and other esoterica. Be sure to bring a laptop, a power cable, and anything else you need to experiment with Bog. We'll be hosting a few speakers and giving out limited edition merch and prizes for folks who participate in the hackathon itself. Shout out to Index for hosting this gathering in their lovely space!
