Join us for a night designed to spark connection, laughter, explore pleasure, and maybe even a little freaky energy!
This event brings our queer East African
community together in a warm, candlelit space where you can mingle, flirt, and explore new connections with intention & joy.
If you’re curious, open to sparks, or just want to be held in queer African diaspora community, this night is for you.
The purpose of this event: it’s designed to create a comfortable, open space for conversations around sex and intimacy. Emphasis on conversation — thoughtful dialogue, shared experiences, and open exploration of ideas in a respectful environment.
While we hope this event sparks curiosity, connection, and maybe even chemistry, we encourage any deeper exploration of those sparks to happen after the event and with clear mutual consent.
We’ll sip cacao, savor chocolate-dipped treats, and move through fun icebreakers and guided rounds of matches. The evening will flow from cozy conversation to flirty energy—wrapping up with open time to let the sparks keep flowing and music to groove to.

Event flow ⟢
7:00-7:30pm: name tag distribution, ice breaker, explanation of night!
7:30-8:00pm: cacao ceremony <3
8:00-8:15pm: first round of matches
8:15-8:30pm: second round of matches
8:30-45pm: third round of matches
9:00pm: free-time to exchange information with people, mingle, dance, etc.
10:00pm: the event ends
Guest Experience ⟢
Arrival – Please arrive within the first 15 minutes
to get the full experience. If you’re on time, you’re late 😉.
We’ll begin with name tags, icebreakers, and cacao, and it’s important to be
present from the start.
Arriving late may mean missing your first match round.
What to Bring ⟢
Bring your own alcoholic drinks, snacks, or anything that makes you comfortable. We will provide cacao, water, and may have a few additional snacks available.
Slow Dating Questionnaire ⟢ (REQUIRED)
Please complete our slow dating questionnaire at least 3 days before the event so we can match you intentionally.
Your matches will be based on the information you share, so filling it out is essential to participate!
Policies ⟢
Photos & Videos – We may take photos and videos during the event. If you’d like to avoid being photographed, please let us know in advance or when you arrive.
Refunds - Refunds are available up to 3 days before the event.
Dissatisfaction with format, matches, or late arrival are not valid grounds for a refund.
Parking – Street parking only; there are no designated spots.
