Theme: “Bridging Policy and Practice through Implementation Science in Uganda”
Implementation science is rapidly gaining momentum as a means of improving the uptake of evidence-based interventions across health systems. The Society for Implementation Research Collaboration (SIRC) fosters global collaboration in this space. As part of the 2025 SIRC City Ambassador initiative, this event will gather early-career researchers, practitioners, and students in Mbarara to discuss and engage with key implementation science themes.
Event Objectives:
1. Raise awareness about implementation science in the Ugandan context
2. Foster networking among researchers and health professionals
3. Promote SIRC membership and opportunities
