Monday Coffee Opens Flagship in North Lawndale

Celebrate with Us November 9th for Free Coffee, DJ Sets, and the First Public Roast Demo- We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of Monday Coffee’s flagship café in Chicago’s North Lawndale neighborhood at 3243 W 16th Street on November 9th. To celebrate, we’re hosting a full day of community-focused events, including our first-ever coffee roast demo, free drip coffee 7am-9am, DJ sets, coffee flights, and more! Designed in collaboration with Duo Development, the café space embodies Monday Coffee’s core mission to create welcoming spaces for connection, creativity, and community. Founded by Amanda Christine Harth and Felton Kizer in 2020 as a pandemic project, Monday Coffee has grown from pop-up beginnings to partnerships with Chicago institutions like Soho House Chicago, Garfield Park Conservatory, the Rebuild Foundation, and the Obama Foundation. With the North Lawndale flagship, complete with on-site roasting, we’re honored to expand our commitment to Chicago’s West Side. We look forward to celebrating with everyone who made this vision possible and invite you to join us for the November 9th festivities!
