April is a sacred time across many traditions 🌿
From the counting of the Omer in the Jewish tradition, to Ramadan in Islam, and Easter in Christianity, many communities are moving through a time of reflection, prayer, and renewal.
In this spirit of interfaith connection, we are honored to welcome our friends Ben and Chavie ✨ Some of you already know them, and for others this will be a first time meeting.
Ben, a psychologist and community holder, and Chavie, who holds a strong presence in devotional practice through song, prayer, and ritual 🎶🙏🏽, will be sharing elements of their Jewish ritual lineage. They are a husband and wife who bring this work forward together through teachings, sacred songs, and storytelling rooted in ancient traditions that continue to live and breathe today.
🕗 8:00 PM — Arrivals + Open Creation Time
Come early. We’ll land, connect, and begin the evening creating together 🌈 We will be creating a God’s Eye, also known as Ojo de Dios or a yarn mandala, using yarn and sticks. This weaving practice has roots in Indigenous communities in Mexico, where these are made as offerings and symbols of protection. This is a shared space to sit together, talk, connect, and create. All materials will be provided, no experience needed.
🕘 9:15 PM — Ben and Chavie
A sensory, interactive, and communal experience ✨ through Kabbalah teachings, sacred songs, prayer, and storytelling. Together we will explore the symbol of fire 🔥 and our relationship to it, how it warms us, guides us, and connects us to inner wisdom.
🕙 10:00 PM — Rooftop Sound Circle
Bring your voice, your presence, your energy 🎶 This is not a performance, this is participation.
What to bring: snacks to share 🥗, drinks (non-alcoholic preferred), your water bottle, something comfortable to sit on, and an open heart 💛
Energy Exchange:
$44 for the circle
$55 for circle with 🍄 tea
