📚Pick of the month📚 'Simple' by Yotam Ottolenghi Simple features 130+ vibrant, Mediterranean-inspired recipes by none other than the British-Israeli chef, Yotam Ottolenghi. Yotam Ottolenghi has become one of the UK’s best known cookbook authors and chefs, inspiring the nation with his signature flavour using bold, unique and colourful combinations of fresh herbs and roasted vegetables that are quite simply, greater than the sum of its parts. Simple is accessible to home cooks with a range of ability levels. ✨What is a Cookbook Club?✨ We each pick one (or more) recipes from the book that we will cook and bring on the day to share potluck style. 💭 How does it work?💭 1. RSVP & pay £9 per person via the Monzo link to 'Sher M Wong'. Please add your names! 2. Claim your recipe via the GoogleDocs 3. Cook and bring your dish on the day. Don't forget a serving utensil and a tupperware to take home the leftovers! 4. We eat, we make a friend or 10, we discuss the food and enjoy! 🎟️What is included in your ticket? 🎟️ Your £9 ticket now includes one small glass of wine (red or white) or a non-alcoholic beverage (coffee, tea or fizz) to be claimed at the venue. The ticket fee also covers the costs of paper plates, cutleries, napkins, decor, and spare takeaway boxes. 🍷Our lovely venue 🍷 Nest and Vine is a brand new cafe, florist and wine bar by Queens Rd Peckham Station run by Joey and Rosie, two brilliant people who are building it to be a place for locals to gather as well as a community space for artists, musicians and makers to share their work. (Queens Rd Peckham Station is about 8 mins train from London Bridge.) Please support the venue in any way you can by purchasing drinks or some of their beautiful flowers during or outside the event! A microwave may be made available for those who may need to heat up any part of their dish. 💡Info💡 As we have limited capacity, please only RSVP if you can definitely make it.
