🏆 THE DIASPORA OLYMPICS 🏆 your family didn’t move across continents for you to lose the egg-and-spoon race. samosas social club × the khalida club are taking over central park for the most unserious sporting event of the year. expect field day games, ridiculous competition, team chants, tug of war, relays, questionable athletic performances, music, prizes, and a few surprises 👀 NO ATHLETIC ABILITY REQUIRED. seriously. 🏃 teams will be made in advance 👕 you’ll get a team color to wear 🏆 medals, trophies + extremely prestigious awards are on the line 🎶 opening ceremony because obviously we needed one 🫶 come to compete, cheer your friends on, or just hang 📅 sunday, september 13 ⏰ 2pm 📍 central park, manhattan 🎟️ limited to 150 people you might leave an olympian. you might leave with the “they tried their best” award. either way, you’re leaving with lore. sign up as a participant or spectator. we’ll handle the teams. WE WILL START ON TIME so pls be there, no cpt allowed see you at the games 🏆
