"The Tasters Etiquette" - SFWS House Rules for Events

It wouldn't be Whisky Week without a panel discussion, and we've got a great one planned here. 

This session brings together the people shaping American Single Malts—across distilling, brand, and market—to talk through what defines the category, where it’s headed, and how different producers are approaching it.

Join us for a focused panel and tasting featuring McCarthy’s, Minden Mill, and Cedar Ridge. Each represents a different approach to American Single Malt, from Pacific Northwest origins to high-desert Nevada and established Midwestern producers.

This is a working conversation—grounded in production, perspective, and what’s actually happening in the category right now.

We'll have master distillers, marketing directors, and maybe even an owner/founder, all talking about their American Single Malts.  Please join us for this discussion and tasting with McCarthy's Oregon Single Malt Master Distiller - Caitlin Bartlemay, Minden Mill's Master Distiller Joe O'sullivan, Cedar Ridge's Director of Marketing Megan Patz and a few other surprise attendees.
