The Way of Spirit Medicines: Spiritual Baths
The Way of Spirit Medicines is a devotional series exploring earth-based practices that help us tend the spirit, reconnect with ancestral ways, and cultivate a deeper relationship with the living world around us.
In this online gathering, we will explore the practice of the spiritual bath and how it can become a meaningful ritual for cleansing, grounding, prayer, and renewal within your own home.
Together we will explore the role of water, intention, and plant allies while learning how spiritual baths can be crafted for breaking, protection, and attraction. Rather than simply learning about the practice, we will end our time together by preparing a spiritual bath as a community, allowing you to leave with both knowledge and direct experience.
Please Have Ready Before Class
To fully participate in our closing ritual of creating the baño, please gather:
* A pot filled with water (tap water, moon water, or water collected from a natural source)
* Rosemary (fresh or dried)
* Lavender (fresh or dried)
* Basil (fresh or dried)
* Sage (fresh or dried)
* 1 lemon
* Salt (optional)
* A stove or heat source to warm your water
* A journal and pen
There is no need for perfection. Fresh or dried herbs are both welcome. Work with what is accessible to you, remembering that your intention, presence, and prayer are just as important as the plants themselves.
This class will be held live on Zoom. If you are unable to attend live or would like to revisit the teachings, a recording will be made available to all registered participants after the class.
