Como decimos wn Latino America. Mi casa es tu casa 🏝️ I’m opening my doors for an intimate tour of my home—created as a “home away from home,” where every room tells a story of where we come from. We’ll wander through corners shaped by memory, design, and cariño; a space meant to be shared, not kept. Come for a guided walk-through, stay for conversation and a little something to sip y picar. Let’s celebrate the beauty of belonging—how a house becomes a poem when we write it together. This intimate reading will be with Deidamia Galan—a Dominican writer, editor, public relationist & translator from Santo Domingo. She has worked in media 22 years and has published four books of poetry: On Cities and Nostalgia, Pieces of a Wandering Heart, Breaking this Silence, and Little Obessions. Her work have been included in several anthologies and has been translated to Catalan, English, and Creole. May we cultivate space to find the beauty in ourselves, despite the sorrows. Each one of us is living poetry 💙 There is a $10 donation with this reservation for this inspirational, poetic intimate evening. This supports Mi Clandestina’s vision of preserving roots inside homes and its expansion into other cities and Latin America, alongside the wonderful souls through the form of food that contribute to this special evening. There is no refund/exchange. Please consider this before reserving. If you want to bring a plus one, please let me know 🙏🏽 PARKING- Spring St is a one way. There are several outdoor and indoor lots right next to my home (Joe’s Parking Lots) Uber/carpool is recommended. Keep in mind. Sometimes there are movies being filmed on my street. If so, Joe’s Lots are probably taken. If Joe’s Lots are full (& or expensive), my favorite lot is Pacific Electric Lofts (just a 3-5 minute walk to my place) because it’s more affordable and indoors and there is security ($10-$15) Paragon parking (710 S Spring St) is another good option ($10-$15) Street parking on Spring St or Main St can be found also. The yellow loading zones are free at 6 or after When you arrive to my building, there’s a butterfly intercom on the side. please press POESIA (763742). Apt is PH1 when you enter the elevator. If you have any questions or need assistance finding the place, parking, etc, please contact my sisters and brother from another mother Aldo +1 (714) 264-3221 Camila +1 (818) 679-9170 There is strength in solidarity, not in solitary. From the ocean depths of my heart, THANK YOU. UN MILLON DE GRACIAS 💙 THANK YOU for believing and supporting my vision of bringing artists together in creative homes that truly represent our Afro, Latin, Indigenous, & immigrant roots ✨ Everyone belongs, just like the sun belongs to our mornings ☀️ With Kindness Robin, Owner of Mi Clandestina 347-526-4397
