This event is envisioned as a sophisticated, multi-sensory homage that celebrates life, memory, and the seamless transition between the physical and spiritual worlds Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a Mexican and Central American holiday that is fundamentally a spiritual celebration. This celebration is a time to "honor and commemorate the lives of the dearly departed and to welcome the return of their spirits". It is a joyful, colorful festival that embraces the unity of life and death, viewing mortality not as an end but as a continuation of a cycle.
