Join us for an evening of connection, creativity, and community at the iconic Ivory Peacock, North America’s largest gin bar, nestled in the heart of Manhattan. We’re thrilled to be co-hosting this special night alongside two incredible NYC-based collectives: Project Feel and Girls Just Wanna Load Trucks, both of whom embody the bold, boots-on-the-ground spirit of the filmmaking world. This isn’t a panel or a formal event. This is an open-invite gathering of passionate creatives: DPs, directors, ACs, gaffers, sound, editors, producers, students, and dreamers alike—coming together to celebrate the work we love and the people who make it. Special Guest: Shane Hurlbut, ASC, the cinematographer behind The Perfect Couple, Terminator Salvation, Need for Speed, and Act of Valor, will be joining us along with members of the Filmmakers Academy Team. Whether you’ve been following Shane’s journey or are just curious to meet fellow creatives, this is your chance to connect in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Drinks will be flowing, stories will be shared, and friendships will be sparked. This is the kind of evening that reminds you why you fell in love with filmmaking in the first place.
