Rani Creative presents: A new "New York minute"

A "New York minute" describes a quick, fleeting moment. Passing by in an instant, it reflects the fast-paced nature of the city which, in many ways, creates its essence and expresses the drive of its people. However, in the same ways perhaps, it also creates a lack of attention and reflection for these parts that make up the whole. So, we ask, what happens when we take the time to consider what creates culture and how it does so? We call it a new, New York minute. ~ Join us for a guided walkthrough of Hannah Traore Gallery's current exhibition, Rachel Martin's "Bending the Rules" & installation, Kitty Ca$h's "Handle With Care," taking a moment to truly engage with art as an experience and to better understand the stories that shape the world around us. Following, we will move to neighboring artist-driven jazz bar Close Up NYC for an intimate performance and cocktail hour, giving you time to relish, reflect, and rejoice in the present moment. -- 100% of profits will go towards supporting Hannah Traore Gallery’s community impact initiatives in supporting arts education programs at local neighborhood elementary schools. We hope that these students can grow up in a place where they actively recognize and learn from the art and the culture that surrounds them, inspiring creativity, community, and collective growth.
