If you have your own tent, feel free to bring it. If not, just bring a sleeping bag—we’ll have sleeping mats available.

This will be a more relaxed, family-friendly Clear Lake weekend, bringing together some of our favorite Scandinavian traditions with one last chance to get out on the water before the season winds down. Saturday: Scandinavian Feast & Crawfish 🦞 We’ll spend Saturday enjoying the lake before gathering for a Scandinavian-inspired dinner and crawfish feast. Come hungry! Lake & Boat Fun 🚤 Weather permitting, we’ll have the boat out for rides and watersports, along with swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking, or simply relaxing by the lake. Beginners and kids are welcome to join in. A Cozy Fall Weekend Expect good food, cooler evenings, games, music, and plenty of time to hang out together. Bring some warm layers for the evenings and settle in for a relaxed weekend with YSC friends and families. Meals Saturday breakfast, lunch & dinner Sunday breakfast + light lunch/leftovers Friday dinner is not provided, so please eat on the way or bring something to prepare when you arrive. Sleeping & Chores Mattresses are available at the cabin, please bring a sleeping bag and pillow. You’re also welcome to bring a tent if you’d rather camp outside. As with all Clear Lake weekends, everyone will be asked to sign up for at least one task when they arrive to help with cooking, cleaning, setup, or general weekend support.
