Romeo and Juliet Day 3
Lackland Arts Collective is excited to present our debut theater production: a modern day Romeo and Juliet.
Set in the heat of contemporary America, our version pulls Shakespeare’s classic out of the textbooks and into the world we’re living in now.
We’re happy to present three performances:
• Friday, December 12 at 7 PM
• Saturday, December 13 at 7 PM
• Sunday, December 14 at 6 PM
This marks the beginning of many a Lackland Arts Collective productions, and we’re eager to share this first chapter with you.
Our mission is to cultivate a stage where artists of all backgrounds can experiment, take risks, and grow together. We are committed to building a space that celebrates imperfection, embraces boldness, and uplifts the voices too often left unheard.
Rooted in joy, identity, and curiosity, our work invites artists and audiences alike to co-create theater that is expansive, accessible, and unapologetically human. We believe the world is a stage, and everyone deserves the chance to bring their story to it.
Lackland is more than a theater — it's a hub, a home, and a holding space where community comes first and where every stumble is part of the magic. Everyone has a seat at our table.
