Institutional AI: From Multi-Agent to Long-Horizon Agent
Hosted by LinqAlpha, The AI for Finance Summit is a private gathering for senior finance professionals to explore the industry's next technical frontier. The Los Angeles edition's theme is "From Multi-Agent to Long-Horizon Agent," tracking the shift from AI systems that execute isolated tasks to agents built for sustained, multi-step work inside the investment process. Los Angeles is home to an unusual concentration of capital: several of the country's largest public pension funds and a major foundation sit in the same city as the hedge funds and asset managers they evaluate. This edition brings both sides of that relationship into the same room.
The program centers on a single panel: allocators and managers comparing notes on how far that shift has actually gone in manager due diligence and selection, followed by drinks and networking. This Los Angeles edition, held during LA Tech Week, continues a global series with past events in London, Seoul, Boston (with J.P. Morgan), New York (with OpenBB and Guidepoint), and San Francisco.
To facilitate candid discussion, the summit will be held under the Chatham House Rule. No recording or press will be permitted. We are pleased to acknowledge the support of our sponsor, AQR Capital Management. Admission is by non-transferable invitation only.
What to expect:
- A candid panel on how AI is changing manager due diligence and selection, from the allocator and manager side
- Peer-level networking with a curated group of senior finance and investment professionals
- A private forum for candid conversation, governed by the Chatham House Rule
