Designed by women of color for women of color, 'picnic club' is a space to recharge and connect with community through parallel play.

We'll hold some time at the beginning for intros and to share how you'll be spending the session. We'll end with a sharing circle and a guided meditation. 

Please feel free to hang back afterwards and chat with your new friends!

"I am from an animation background and my main interest is to show movement and emotion. I use watercolor paint on paper for ‘frame by frame’ 2d/hand painted animation, as a main tool but I also like experimenting with charcoals, pastels, and other mixed media for my animation."

We keep our events small to facilitate meaningful connection! To prevent no-shows, we request a $10 deposit which is returned after attending the event. Note: Refunds will be issued to anyone whose RSVP is not approved.
