BLUE HOUR: A Listening Party w Lord Fess & Friends
North State Blues is the first complete project from Lord Fess since the pandemic. As I'm writing this, all the songs are turned in and sent to mix and master. I'm both excited and a lil freaked out, but we're gonna push through that negative emotion, ’cause momma ain't raise no hoe 🤷🏾♂️.
I wrote this EP for me — emotionally. It’s some pent‑up anger and sadness mixed with a confrontation with accountability that I needed to get off my chest. And if I'm being completely transparent, I just wanted to feel good again. Music does that for me. Music makes me feel good — the creation of it, the listening, the performing… just every aspect of music and vibration.
Now it’s time to share these vibrations with y’all. I honestly can’t wait to share this with you and experience the energy at the same time, surrounded by love and community. That love and community is hella needed right now!
