Something has been growing in The Flats this summer.
Ten young people from Brooklyn and Queens spent the last nine weeks testing the soil on your blocks, mapping the infrastructure your community depends on, building tools to make environmental data make sense for the people who actually live here, and documenting the history and culture that belongs to you.
They didn't do it for a grade. They did it because they wanted to make a difference.
On September 3, they're sharing it with you.
The EcoPower '26 Community Report Back is not a ceremony. It's not a presentation for funders or officials. It's for you. The people in East Flatbush, Flatbush, and Flatlands who have been watching your neighborhood change and wondering who's paying attention.
We are. And so are they.
Come hear what your neighbors found. Come see what young people from your community built when someone actually invested in them. Come be in the room.
