Sunshine, snacks, and the best hangover-free fun this side of the 405. Come celebrate Pride with the Queer Sober SoCal crew! All genders, all LGBTQ+ identities welcome!
We know sometimes Pride season can feel like it's all late nights, packed bars, and (let’s be honest) overpriced after-parties. But we wanted to create something different. A chance to celebrate queer joy in the middle of the day, substance-free, with real connection, great food, and a shared love of intentional community seeking the same thing.
So we're taking it outside this June for a relaxed afternoon under the trees at Woodley Park. Whether you want to lounge in the shade, get competitive with lawn games, or just soak up good company, we’ll have a little something for everyone. Even some Pride-themed connection games if you’re feeling it (totally optional, zero pressure!)
Food is BYO to share, plus we'll be providing a tasty mocktail for everyone. We plan to be under the trees, but will also have a big pop up shade structure to make sure we stay cool from the Valley sun just in case. :)
What to Bring:
🧀 A dish, snack, or drinks to share
🪑 Your own blanket or chair to get comfy
🎯 Any outdoor or lawn games (if you have one, optional)
🤸 Anything else you think would be fun!
Come as you are. Stay as long as you like. Let's celebrate Pride our way — surrounded by queer joy, real connection, and a whole lot of snacks (obviously.) 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🍪
This event is open to all queer folks, all gender identities, and all who are sober, sober-curious, or just here for the community and great people enjoying a substance-free day.
