Tethics & Chill 8: Biosecurity
C'est vrai: Tethics is back in action. Although I think we should rename it Tethical Taco Tuesday. What say ye?
Anyway, coming up next is Dr. Kevin Esvelt of MIT Media Lab, inventor of CRISPR gene drives and expert in bioethics, biosafety, and biotech security. He will be joining us virtually over Zoom.

- How might a future pandemic play out and what safeguards are we putting in place?
- How will AI impact the likelihood of future pandemics?
- What are the ethical implications of CRISPR-based gene drives for fighting diseases and reducing animal suffering?
