Scrap As You Please: An SCV Junk Journal Meet-up! 📔Hey Santa Clarita! Ready to turn your random drawer of cool receipts, movie tickets, and pretty paper scraps into art? Whether you’re a seasoned junk journal pro or a total beginner, come hang out, grab a coffee, and create with @scv_scrap_as_you_please!📍 Location & Logistics:We are meeting up at the Panera Bread in Santa Clarita. Look for the tables covered in stickers and pretty paper scraps!What exactly is a junk journal?It’s a handmade book made from repurposed papers, vintage pages, stickers, and everyday scraps. There are no rules here—the goal is simply to "scrap as you please" in a fun, zero-pressure space.What to expect:✨ The Supply Bar: I will provide base supplies like glue, scissors, scrap paper, and washi tape.🔄 The Ephemera Swap: Bring your own leftover scraps, stickers, or paper goodies to trade with others (optional but highly encouraged!).☕ Cafe Vibes: Grab a coffee, pastry, or lunch from the cafe while we craft and chat.What to bring:Just yourself! If you have a specific notebook, binder, or personal memories (photos, ticket stubs, wrappers) you want to use, bring them along.Note: Since we are using Panera's lovely space, please plan to buy a drink or a snack to support the venue! 🙏Can’t wait to make something messy and beautiful together.
