Fire Horse 2026: UIUC Graphic & Industrial Design Senior Show Opening Friday April 3rd 2026, at Public Works Gallery, the U of I senior graphic & industrial design 2026 student show, FIRE HORSE, is a survey of the next generation, pushing back on the robots on the horizon and digging into the “humancraft” the world truly needs and values. These kids are riding high atop the fiery steed, taking inspiration from the year of the Fire Horse that is 2026. Launching with an opening party Friday April 3rd, 6-11pm, with an all-new art installation dreamed up by the students themeselves, new Public Works special edition apparel, and an after party featuring a renowned Chicago DJ. Professionals, families, friends and the creative community are all welcomed and encouraged to dive in.
