Start the Jewish new year by doing good with Emanu-El and Repair the World!
On Rosh HaShanah we cast our regrets into the water with Tashlich. At Reverse Tashlich, we flip 🔄 the ritual: instead of tossing breadcrumbs in, we'll get trash out, cleaning up our shoreline and starting 5787 🎉 with our hands in the work of repair. Every piece of trash we remove helps restore local waterways, protect marine life, and keep pollution out of our beautiful Bay. Reverse Tashlich turns a symbolic act into a tangible one and starts the year with a commitment to care for our shared planet.
This program is designed for young adults in their 20s and 30s who want to make a meaningful impact in their local community 🤗
Reverse Tashlich is a global initiative of Repair the Sea (Tikkun HaYam), a Jewish marine conservation organization that connects Jewish tradition to the urgent work of protecting our oceans and waterways 🌊
