Hi friends! I am proud to announce my first solo visual art show { MOTHER } will take place on 🗓️ December 16th 2024 at my home in Brooklyn, 272 Jefferson Ave BK 11216. What is meant to flow through must flow through. It would delight me completely to share this creative realization with YOU. ⏰The show will begin at 7:00pm and go til 9:30pm. Light refreshments will be served. There will be a portion of the night where I will say some things, probably around ~8pm, otherwise this space will be a warm come and go as you fancy. 🥀Price of admission is a bouquet or flower. There will be a place to make a donation if you are moved to do so but it is not an expectation. A bit about the show…just enough to wet your whistle: 🪷 MOTHER 🪷 is a devotion to the feminine and an invitation to you to experience this inner-dimension we all contain. The show itself was born from a dedication to trusting an intuitive life force. It attempts to render that life force visible through the autobiographical and archetypical. Consider the ways this energy has been trialed, vilified, discarded, condemned, as well as revered, safeguarded, protected and worshipped. Through portraiture, ritual, myth, and the artist’s sacred embodiment, an appeal is made to disrupt tradition and make room for a different kind of authority: One that feels, senses, creates, and nourishes. One that is ungovernable and omnipotent. I hope to see you there xx z
