Designing for Timelessness During Exponential Change A Panel Discussion hosted by HUSH (Part of NYCxDesign 2026) The world is moving fast. Technology shifts overnight. Cultural moments come and go. So how must we design places that remain meaningful not just for today, but for decades? Join HUSH at our studio for an evening of honest conversation about design - experience, art, architecture, placemaking and technology. We'll dig into a provocation that cuts against the grain of trend-driven thinking: timelessness and innovation are not opposing forces. The most enduring experiences are rooted in innate human behaviors and shared values — with particular elements intended to remain steadfast, and others designed to evolve over time. We'll be joined by a panel of practitioners who have each shaped some of the world's most consequential environments — from transit systems and airport terminals to beloved urban parks and cultural institutions. Speakers Robert Hammond, President & Chief Strategy Officer, Therme Group US / Founder, Culture of Bathing Robert Hammond is the President & Chief Strategy Officer for Therme Group US, where he spearheads initiatives to introduce large-scale bathing facilities across the United States.
