The Love Lobbyists™ (trademark pending) have spent the past year lobbying on behalf of the good people of D.C. to help them find love. We’re DC’s ONLY volunteer-based matchmaking spinsters. We’ve met hundreds of people on the streets of D.C. and paired them with people we think could be a great match. Now, we’re bringing it to our biggest stage yet.
On Tuesday, August 4th bring your single friends to the Malcolm X Park fountains to find love. There will be no Instagram Live and no microphones shoved in your face. We just love love!
The only thing we ask in return is if you become a successful couple we’re invited to your wedding (we’re not buying you a gift…this is the gift).
This event will be from 6:30-8:15. By 8:15 we will give a $100 gift card for one lucky couple to go on a date!! Each couple must find a love lobbyist by 8:00 to enter the competition. You will only have 90 minutes to find a date so it will not be fashionable to be fashionably late. Disclaimer: must meet at this event…no previous couples (OR SITUATIONSHIPS!! OR EXES!!) If there are multiple couples we’ll have the crowd vote on who should win.
