The lighting console was never built for filmmakers. The board operator sat trapped at a desk, behind a door, blind to the set. Blackout tore that model down and rebuilt the console for the way a movie set actually works.

Join Jeff Brink, CEO of Blackout, with Director of Photography Shane Hurlbut, ASC (Local 600 Cinematographer and Co-Founder of Filmmakers Academy) and his gaffer Thomas Sigurdsson (Local 728 Gaffer and Founder of Northern Lighting) for the first public look at Blackout V3.
This is the version that surpasses the legacy consoles. See the new FX Engine with live movement and pixel mapping, an advanced color engine, and a console that lives entirely on an iPad, so the programmer moves freely across set without a single line of cable. Get your hands on the motorized fader wing at the booth, and expect at least one reveal Jeff is saving for the day.
