As generative AI continues to push the frontier of industries across the globe, the legal sector is no exception. LLMs, a foundation model capable of understanding and generating natural language text, have the potential to transform legal research, contract analysis, dispute resolution, and much more. This hackathon hopes to build solutions that consider the safe and trustworthy integration of LLMs for legal work. Join us for the fourth edition of the LLM x Law Hackathon! We encourage you to think boldly, creatively, and across multiple dimensions! This hackathon will have 3 tracks: First-Build Track: This is your typical generalist hackathon style submission – show off your dev skills using the most cutting-edge AI tools as you build & ship the best legal hack possible during the hackathon! Future of Dispute Resolution Track: This is a unique yet evergreen challenge that tackles the problem of what (machine) adjudication, and its future would look like. This includes both dispute resolution from the perspective of courts, as well as alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration and mediation. VC Competition Track: Bring your ongoing Legal Tech project/startup and continue shaping it during the Hackathon. This track is ideal for showcasing your work and products you have built. You will be judged separately by a panel of esteemed VCs.
