Noah Reiser, Hatikvah Slate
Noah Reiser currently works the Northwest Coordinator for J Street U. He graduated from the University of Maryland in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree with a double major in Government & Politics (International Relations concentration), and Chinese language. Before joining J Street, Noah interned at both the Department of Energy, Office of International Affairs, and Cornerstone Government Affairs. He also worked as a counselor at Crane Lake Camp in Massachusetts.
Nate Turk, ANU Slate
Nate Turk is the IPF Atid Bay Area Steering Commiteee Chair and works in digital marketing with experience in business analytics, CRM, and digital personalization. After growing up in Chicago, he went to Washington University in St. Louis, where he chaired an Israel advocacy organization and spearheaded Hillel’s internship and “Jew It Yourself” grant program. He has been to Israel 7 times before, including when he studied entrepreneurship in Tel Aviv with WashU’s Olin Business School and staffed two student trips. He also participated in the IPF Atid Delegation to Israel and the West Bank in 2023. Living in San Francisco for nearly 6 years, he loves trail running, skiing, and hiking in his free time. Fun facts—he speaks Italian and spent two months in rural Madagascar working on solutions to promote sustainable development and conservation.
Alexa Asher, Vote Reform Slate
Alexa Asher is the Director of Programs at Congregation Emanu-El of San Francisco. A San Francisco native, she grew up in an Israeli-American household, with an Israeli father and an American mother, and spent several years living in Israel. She earned her B.A. in Communications from Reichman University and, inspired by her heritage as a third-generation Holocaust survivor, pursued an M.A. in Holocaust Studies at the University of Haifa.
At Emanu-El, Alexa leverages her knowledge of Jewish studies and Israel to curate dynamic programming for the San Francisco Jewish community. She oversees educational courses, speaker series, marquee events, and cultural programs, fostering engagement across diverse audiences. She served as the staff liaison for Emanu-El’s Young Adult Leadership Committee for three years and continues to play a key role in shaping community-driven initiatives that strengthen Jewish life in the Bay Area.
