📣 Calling all foodies and cooking lovers! 🍽 What’s a Cookbook Club? It’s like a book club — but with a cookbook! We each pick a recipe, cook it, and bring it to share. ✨ How it works: • RSVP 'Going' on here & Venmo $15 (If you have not done both of these steps you have not signed up) • Sign Up for your recipe via the spreadsheet • Recipe photos are sent out every Thursday • Make your recipe & bring it along with a serving utensil & tupperware to take home leftovers! • Eat & meet new people:) 💛 ALL ARE WELCOME *Please note this is not a plus one event. Each person must rsvp on their own and sign up for their own recipe. This Month’s Pick: Vietnam: The Cookbook by Anais Ca Dao Van Manen This cookbook is full of over 400 authentic Vietnamese home-cooking recipes, from familiar favorites like summer rolls to lesser-known regional dishes, with clear instructions and stunning photography. The book is organized by preparation style and includes recipes for appetizers, snacks, salads, sandwiches, stir-fries, noodles, rice dishes, desserts, and essential sauces and pickles, all based on the author's extensive research across Vietnam. I listened to a great podcast episode where Anais was interviewed about the cookbook: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WS5XM15G2EA What to Bring: Your Dish Serving Utensils for your dish Your favorite non-alcoholic drink(optional) Tupperware to take home leftovers Yourself 💛 (I’ve got drinks, plates, napkins, and utensils covered!) 💛 To keep the events sustainable and cover costs, this month’s event — and all future events — are $15 to attend. *As always if cost is a barrier for anyone please reach out - no questions asked. **Terms & Conditions** All food served at the event is homemade and prepared by individual participants, not by Philly Cooks A Book.
