Join Orchestra Nova LA for “Where the Sun Sets," a concert inspired by that golden-hour feeling when the day winds down and everything feels a little more vivid. From the warm, searching melodies of Samuel Barber’s "First Essay for Orchestra" to the dreamy shimmer of Charles T. Griffes’ "The White Peacock," and the sweeping, cinematic atmosphere of Jason Polychronakos’s "Where the Sun Sets," the evening builds to the powerful, heart-stirring drama of Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. 7. Whether you’re a longtime orchestral music fan or just looking for a beautiful night out, this program captures reflection, intensity, and that quiet spark of possibility that comes just before dark. FREE ADMISSION Suggested donation: $20 (To make a tax-deductible contribution, please visit orchnovala.org/supportus) Doors open at 7:30PM OPEN SEATING - Arriving early is strongly recommended.
