Please join us to celebrate Dr. Samantha Smith's debut publication! Dr. Smith is a therapist, theologian, and quilter currently based in Belize. She earned her Doctorate of Philosophy from Aberdeen University, where she researched issues caused by relational trauma and spirituality. While working on her dissertation, she found a lack of resources about trauma theology. Based on that, she pursued publishing her work connecting survivors of sexual assault and their relation to spiritual institutions following the violation.
