Join us for a transformative gathering exploring the intersection of disability and the climate crisis. This event will begin with a panel featuring disabled leaders and climate advocates who will share personal stories, lived expertise, and critical insights into how disability justice and climate justice are deeply connected.
In the second half, participants will engage in an interactive workshop designed to move from learning into practice. Together, we will reflect on our own relationships to both externalized and internalized ableism, and explore how these dynamics shape the ways we understand and respond to the climate crisis.
Grounded in community care and collective imagination, this event invites participants to challenge assumptions, reframe narratives, and consider new ways of showing up for each other and the planet. You will leave with:
A deeper understanding of the links between climate justice and disability justice
Practical tools for recognizing and unlearning ableism in climate spaces
Strategies for building more accessible, inclusive, and resilient movements
This is a space for reflection, connection, and growth—an opportunity to reimagine what it means to care for both people and the Earth.
