Join us at Casa de Healing to celebrate Xochilpilli and Huixtocihuatl. The Aztec energy in July centers around abundance, gratitude, and the peak of the rainy season. In the Mexica xiuhpohualli (365-day solar calendar), this month aligns with Tecuilhuitontli ("Small Feast of the Lords"), a period for honoring nobility, community leaders, and fertility deities. To tap into this energy, the Aztecs celebrated blooming nature and performed ceremonies emphasizing balance and respect for the earth. Huixtocihuatl, goddess of salt and ocean waters was also honored. Salt was essential for food preservation, making this a time to celebrate resources that sustained the community. Xochilpilli the god of flowers, dance, music, and love, Xochipilli, was a principal deity for this mid-summer period. The energetic focus was on joy, art, and the vibrancy of life. The ceremony will led by Lumina Castro (@soulhealingenergy). The evening will bring us into a circle of shamanic medicine rituals as we collectively sit in the temazcal . TIME: Arrive at 4:30 PM Hapé and community support to prepare the space for the gathering. A temazcal is put together for the community by the community. Your prayers and intention strengthen the connection for all who attend. Temazcal 5-7:00 PM Powerful sisterhood after ✨🔥✨ Additional offerings to the Ceremony upon request are Hapé and Sananga. These offerings are $10 additional to honor energetic donation of the prayers and medicines prepared. We humbly appreciate your understanding.
