Tired of the same old pitch events? So are we. That’s why we’re bringing something new to LA Tech Week.
In Good Company: Pitch-A-Founder is a novel networking event that transforms traditional business pitching by focusing on the human story behind the entrepreneur rather than the business metrics. Inspired by the viral "Pitch-A-Friend" dating format, this event creates an intimate yet dynamic environment where the character, values, and journey of founders take center stage.
Here’s how it works: Throughout the night, we’ll host two sessions featuring three dynamic speakers each. But instead of pitching their own startup, each speaker has 3–5 minutes (with a PowerPoint deck) to pitch a founder—a peer they admire, a friend, a family member—focusing on their story, their character, and what makes them someone worth backing.
The result? An engaging, high-energy evening that goes beyond features and benefits and highlights the human side of entrepreneurship. By centering on the person behind the company, we give everyone an even more compelling reason to believe in their venture.
We have a couple more spots left for nominees, submit your application here: https://lafsc.club/la-tech-week-lafsc.
Come for the bar, stay for the stories, and leave ready to be in good company.
This event is a part of #LATechWeek—a week of events hosted by VCs and startups to bring together the tech ecosystem. Learn more at www.tech-week.com.
