Local Queer is back with Texas Roller Derby for another open skate night! Join us at the TXRD Thunderdome in Buda to take some spins around the track PLUS members of the Texas Roller Derby team will be present to ask questions, share skating tips, and even run drills with anyone interested! Whether you’ve thought about joining roller derby, just like skating, or want to try something new, this is the low pressure environment for you! TXRD will be hosting tryouts on 2/16 so this is a great time to meet them! This time, for the first 16 people to sign up we’ll be offering a FREE ticket to the Cherry Bombs vs Hellcats bout on February 8! Please indicate in your payment memo if you would like a ticket. Note: Full gear (helmet, elbow & knee pads, and wrist guards, skates) are required on the track! We have a limited number of rentals available, PLEASE BRING ANY OF THESE ITEMS IF YOU HAVE THEM. **ANY HELMET WILL WORK** **Skates must be roller skates, no inline/blades allowed**
