Architecting Startups is a Boston Tech Week conversation at Harvard GSD on architects building in tech, product, and venture. Architecture trains people to think in systems, navigate ambiguity, understand human needs, and turn ideas into reality. Those are startup skills. Join us for a live conversation with founders and leaders who started in architecture and went on to build companies, products, and careers in technology. We’ll talk about nontraditional paths into startups, why architectural thinking is such a powerful advantage in company building, and how design-led leaders operate across product, innovation, and venture. You’ll leave with a clearer sense of how architectural training can translate into startup and tech careers, what skills carry over most powerfully, and how builders from design backgrounds can carve their own path beyond traditional practice. For architects, designers, students, founders, operators, and anyone interested in nontraditional paths into tech. Hosted by Build Momentum and moderated by Michael Meo, Harvard GSD alum and founder of Build Momentum. Location shared upon approval.
