HOW WE KEEP SCRAPS SOCIAL FREE  

SCRAPS SOCIAL is a community-focused upcycling series presented by Gutter Fairy Studios. Through hands-on workshops, secondhand fashion, and creative repair, we’re building spaces that encourage people to slow down, create with intention, and rethink overconsumption and textile waste together.

This month’s workshop is beginner-friendly and focused on patch making + clothing customization. We’ll start with a short introduction covering different ways patches can be created using embroidery, fabric scraps, paint, appliqué, and other mixed mediums before moving into an open workshop session where participants can create their own patch to take home.

Bring a clothing item, tote bag, denim piece, or anything you’d like to customize. No sewing experience is needed.
